Founded in 1856 as a tavern, Viva madrid i a very well known centenary restaurant with more than 150 years of history. It still has the facade with colorful ceramic and the famous "Plaza Cibeles" is the inspiration of this magnificent piece of art hand painted by the Casa Mensaque in late 1920's, now a days consideres as part of the cultural heritage of Madrid. The interior retains some of the original features such a tiled tiles, coffered ceiling with harpies and tin bar.
